Celebrate Skin and Culture

In Your Skin is an Artbook honoring women's skin through
the characters of Disney princesses. The message of In Your Skin is: no matter what
era you are, what color your skin is, what your body is like, you are always the most
beautiful when you are confident in yourself and proud of your own identity.

With many different skin tones, I illustrate Disney
princesses in two versions: fairy tale and modern.
Each painting has its own story about each princess
and the meaning of each character. I hope that through
this project, everyone will be motivated and have more
confidence about themselves - about their bodies -
about their skin and their own uniqueness. The purpose
of the artbook that celebrates the skin and incorporates
the cultural skin of Disney princesses is to convey diversity
and beauty in each image. Through each page of my art book,
I want to explore and celebrate the unique beauty of all skin
types, while bringing a message of respect, acceptance, and
understanding of cultural differences.

The artbook will be a source of inspiration, encourage confidence, and support storytelling with each Disney character. Choosing a theme that honors the skin combined with a Disney princess is a harmonious combination of diverse beauty and entertainment culture. I chose it because I wanted to show diversity and respect for all skin types. Together, famous Disney characters become symbols of unique beauty, each bringing a unique story and perspective, creating a rich and positive space.
